SenSights addresses both sides of that tension with a cloud platform that watches over seniors without intruding on them — continuous wellness monitoring, emergency response, and telehealth in one service (Safe@Home), plus risk screening for the care workers who serve them (Safe2Work).

The Challenge
Designing for seniors inverts most mobile-app assumptions. The interface had to work for users with reduced vision, motor precision, and technology familiarity — while remaining capable enough to handle health monitoring, video consultations, and emergency response. An app a senior can't comfortably use isn't a safety net; it's a false sense of one.
Reliability carried unusual weight. A missed emergency alert isn't a bug ticket — it's potentially a life-safety failure. Monitoring had to run continuously without draining the device battery, distinguish genuine anomalies from noisy sensor data, and escalate through reliable channels when something was actually wrong.
Our Approach
The senior-facing experience was designed around large targets, high contrast, minimal navigation depth, and forgiving interactions — every critical action reachable in one or two taps, with the emergency path always visible. Families get their own view: reassurance at a glance, alerts when attention is needed.
Wellness signals stream to the cloud platform where anomaly detection separates meaningful changes from sensor noise; genuine concerns trigger the personal emergency response chain. Telehealth consultations run inside the same app, so the step from 'something seems off' to 'talking with a clinician' is as short as possible.
For the Safe2Work side, we built the screening and risk-monitoring workflow that agencies use to verify care workers — protecting the trust relationship on both ends of home care.
